The Micro Reader can be used in several different ways during telepathy, prediction or phenomenal memory shows. The main effect is the following: The magician is able to find a word chosen in a book by a spectator, to recite an encyclopaedia definition, to provide all sorts of historical dates or even to find a phone number in a directory.
What you need is an accomplice, a computer (not provided) and the Micro Reader. All you have to do is connect the transmitter on the serial port of your computer, and hide the receiver in your jacket pocket. Your accomplice writes on his keyboard. You receive the information in real time, on a back lighted screen, legible even in the dark.
